My name is Jim Nelson and I am a PHP programmer and Web Host.

No I am not a Internet Marketing Guru just a programmer that has created a few PHP scripts that I sell online. In doing so I also got started in Web Hosting. I have been doing both since late 2000 early 2001 full time.

Since I am not a marketing guru I really want to learn how to market effectively on the internet without spending a fortune on over hyped and over priced products that really do not teach you much of anything but how to loose your money!

So I created this blog so that you can follow my marketing efforts and see what works and what does not with real world results from my efforts to learn how to market effectively and make a better income with my products and affiliate marketing!

Background on Me:

I am 44 years old, Married with 6 kids (4 girls , 2 boys and 7 grand kids)

In December 1992 I was in an work related accident that left me burned (3rd degree) over 46% of my upper body ( from about 2 inches above my belly button to the top of my head). I spent 72 days in the Burn Unit in Chapel Hill North Carolina and then a further 2 1/2 years getting reconstructive surgery and therapy just to be able to function somewhat normally.

I thought my life as I knew it was over (we lost everything we had), but it really only just started!

I did not tell this to make you feel sorry for me, please do not…. I am alive after all and making the most of life with my family! I only told you so that you have an idea of where I am coming from and how I got here.

During that 2 1/2 years I realized that I would never be able to do the work I was doing before the accident. So I bought my first computer to learn with and to try to make a living online because I had read so much about making a living online at the time…..well I am still learning!

During that time I taught myself CGI because one of the programs I bought online did not work correctly and I needed to fix it (didn’t have the money to pay someone to do it for me at the time) because they refused to refund my money for the crap program!

Well I fixed it and then wrote my own and started selling it, a person that was doing web hosting helped me out selling the program and we became partners in the web hosting business which is still going to this day.

Later on I started learning PHP and converted the program to PHP from CGI, now all I program in is PHP.

I tell you all this because you can change your life no matter how old you are if you put in the effort and time to do so, nothing is free in life you have to want it and go it it!

My promise to you is to tell you the exact results I get, how I got the results good or bad, no BS ever! If I recommend something I stand behind it 100%
